Many of the health problems we have are often tackled by modern medicines, mostly developed by large pharmaceutical companies who are making a fortune from producing such chemicals. Many such medicines are based on natural products with other chemicals thrown in. Not all of these medicines are effective for all of the people and can be very expensive too, so I set out to find alternatives to modern medicine to help with some ailments or illnesses that can be defeated with a simple lifestyle change or consuming herbs and natural ingredients.
They can be, yes. It depends very much on the person, the illness and the severity of the illness. There have been quite a few cases where patients stopped going to see the doctor for a period and somehow ended up being miraculously cured. Of course, these cases were not miracles but were often related to changes in diet. I personally have heard many stories relating to the consumption of coconut water or buko juice and gayobano fruits being related to tackling cancer, arrow-root helping cure shingles and it is fairly common knowledge that the gel from the aloe vera cactus can soothe the pains caused by sunburn and other skin burns. In fact, most after-sun products are made from aloe vera extracts.
I cannot guarantee that. I am not a doctor nor a medical professional. I am more into research and sharing and I hope that some of the ideas here will lead you to find answers that you may not have thought of otherwise and to solve whatever may be troubling you.
To get into the site please search through ailments and illnesses, natural remedies and cures or herbs and ingredients.
Good luck!
